colorful baked beans

It's amazing I ate these beans many many years ago made by a great lady at then my church Montco Bible Fellowship. I have been making them ever since. Just talking about them with my son who wanted to make them got me planning to make a small bowl this 4th of July. Over the years the recipe has evolved to my liking you make it yours.

Ingredients For colorful baked beans

1/2 canlight or dark kidney beans

2 canbaked beans
-
1/2 bagfrozen limas
-
1sweet italian or spicy sausage

1/2 candiced ham
-
1/2 cdiced onion
-
1/2 cfav barbeque sauce

How To Make colorful baked beans

1Drain one can of baked beans use other as is, put in casserole dish, if for a larger crowd use more baked beans. Drain and rinse kidney beans use 1/2 can if making a smaller casserole add to dish

2Steam or boil in a little water frozen 1/2 pack of limas till soft 15 to 20 minutes drain cool a little add to casserole. Cook sausage til brown let cool a bit cut up add to casserole. Add ham as is no need to heat Dice onion add to casserole

3Add all remaining ingredients stir taste adjust to taste add a little hot sauce whatever you think makes it yours. Bake 45 mins
