I wasn't sure about this recipe but it turned out great and is really good and filling.

Ingredients For chicken liver and rice casserole

  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 3 Tbsp
    minced onion
  • 1 1/3 c
    cooked rice
  • 1/2 lb
    chicken livers
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • pinch of basil

How To Make chicken liver and rice casserole

  • 1
    Boil chicken livers until done. Cut into 1 inch pieces. Saute' onion in margarine until tender. Add to rice. In 1 1/2 quart casserole dish, combine livers, rice, soup, milk, and basil. Bake uncovered at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
