    (8 ounce) package cream cheese,cut into cubes
  • 1
    (6 ounce) package long grain and wild rice mix
  • 1 Tbsp
    margarine
  • 1 c
    sliced white mushrooms
  • 4 Tbsp
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 can
    cheddar cheese soup
  • 2 Tbsp
    honey mustard
  • 3/4 c
    chopped carrots
  • 1/2 c
    diced sweet onion
  • 3/4 c
    shredded colby jack cheese
  • 3/4 c
    shredded pepperjack cheese
  • 3/4 c
    shredded mozzarella cheese

How To Make cheesy wild rice casserole

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.Grease a 2-quart casserole dish.Add cubed cream cheese.

    In a medium saucepan,bring a boil.Mix in wild rice,cover and remove from heat.Let stand 5 minutes.

    In a large skillet,add margarine and sliced mushrooms over medium-high heat,saute for 5 minutes.Stir in parmesan cheese.Set aside.

    In the prepared casserole dish,mix the prepared wild rice,soup,honey mustard,carrot,onion,sauteed mushrooms and cheeses.

    Bake,covered,for 20 minutes.Stir the mixture.Cover;bake for 15 to 20 minutes more or until rice is tender.Stir again.Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
