I ran across this recipe from an old copy of "Taste of Home" magazine. I just love cabbage, and who doesn't love cheese!! I thought this sounded so good, but it hasn't been tested in my kitchen, so let me know what you think.

Ingredients For cheddar cabbage casserole

2 1/2 ccoarsley crushed cornflakes

1/2 cbutter, melted

4 1/2 cshredded cabbage

1/4 cchopped, onion

1/4-1/2 tspsalt

1/4-1/2 tsppepper

1 can(10-3/4 oz.) condensed cream of celery soup, undiluted

1 cmilk
-
1/2 cmayonnaise
-
2 cshredded cheddar cheese (8 oz.)
How To Make cheddar cabbage casserole

1Toss the cornflakes and butter; spoon half into a greased 13 x 9 x 2 in. baking dish. Layer with the cabbage, onion, salt and pepper. In a bowl, combine the soup, milk and mayonnaise until smooth. Spoon over top; sprinkle with cheese and remaining cornflake mixture.

2bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
