Ingredients For best broccoli souffle

1 bag(14 ounces) frozen chopped broccoli, thawed

1/4 cbutter

1/4 cflour
-
1 cmilk
-
3eggs, beaten

2/3 cmayonnaise

3 Tbspchopped onion

salt and pepper to taste

1/2 ccheddar cheese, shredded
How To Make best broccoli souffle

1Place a steamer insert into a saucepan and fill with water to just below the bottom of the steamer. Bring water to a boil. Add broccoli, cover and steam 2 to 4 minutes.

2Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add flour and stir until mixed. Slowly add the milk. stirring to prevent lumps. Cook until thickened, about 10 minutes.

3Combine broccoli, eggs, mayonnaise and onion in a 3 quart baking dish; cover with white sauce and stir.

4Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top and bake until set, about 15 minutes more.
