Ingredients For barley casserole

1 stickmargarine
-
1 cquick cooking barley
-
1 mdonion, chopped

1packet onion soup mix
-
1 canchicken broth
-
1 canmushrooms, 4oz with juice

1 canwater chestnuts, 4 oz sliced, drained
How To Make barley casserole

1Pre-heat oven to 350. Melt Margarine in a large skillet, add onions and barley. Saute until golden brown.

2To the skillet; Add dry onion soup mix and chicken broth, then add mushrooms with juice and water chestnuts.

3Transfer to a greased 2 quart casserole dish, cover and bake for 1 hour, then uncover and bake until golden brown.
