Struck up a conversation with a woman in the doctor's office one day and we started talking Kugel recipes. She told me about this one. I went home and made it. LOL It is so good.

Ingredients For apricot noodle kugel

  • 1
    bag wide egg noodles
  • 1 stick
    butter, room temperature
  • 1 pkg
    cream cheese, room temperature
  • 4
    eggs
  • brown sugar
  • 1
    12 oz jar apricot preserves

How To Make apricot noodle kugel

  • 1
    Boil noodles in salted water for 4 minutes
  • 2
    Mix noodles with the butter and cream cheese. Then add the eggs.

    Place half the noodles in a 9 x 13 inch greased casserole dish.

    Top the noodles with half jar of preserves and then sprinkle brown sugar over preserves (I'd say a couple handfulls.)

    Top with the ramining noodles and preserves and again sprinkle with brown sugar.

    Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes.
