This recipe is from my friend Laura from Minnesota- her family makes this a traditional side dish every Christmas. Made with long-grain, wild rice, that will keep you warm on a cold winter day! And now is enjoyed by my family too. I like to serve it with my pork chops too.

Ingredients For wild rice stuffing

1/2 cchopped celery

1/2 cchopped onion

3 Tbspbutter

1 lgegg
-
1 1/2 cchicken broth
-
1 Tbspminced fresh parsley

1 pinchpepper
-
3 ctorn whole wheat artisan bread

1 1/2 ccooked wild rice
How To Make wild rice stuffing

1Sauté celery and onion in butter in a large skillet until tender. In a large bowl, combine the next 4 ingredients. Mix in celery mixture, bread pieces and rice.

2Spoon mixture into a greased or sprayed 1 1/2 quart casserole. Cover with foil and bake at 350^ for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake 15 to 20 minutes more or until set.
