This is the best Spanish Rice recipe I've ever had. I found this years ago on the internet, tweaked it a little bit to my liking and have never bought a box of pre-made spanish rice since! Tons of flavor and so quick and easy! Just tastes so fresh and light, goes great as a side to almost anything.

Ingredients For spanish rice

1/4 cbutter

2 cuncooked instant rice

1 candiced tomatoes, undrained

1 cboiling water

2beef bouillon cubes

1 mdonion, chopped

1 clovegarlic, minced

1bay leaf

1 tspsugar

1 tspsalt

1/4 tsppepper
How To Make spanish rice

1In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the rice and stir until browned. Add all remaining ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce the heat; cover and simmer 10-15 minutes or until the liquid is absorbed and rice is tender. Remember to remove the bay leaf before serving!
