This is a simple twist on rice. It can be eaten as is or top it with a Meat or Vegetable stew recipe that I have posted. I also ate this growing up with just plain yoghurt on top. Yummy!

Ingredients For simple arabic rice

2 crice

1/4 cbutter or olive oil

small handful broken vermicelli or broken thin spaghetti

1/2 tspsalt

3 3/4 chot water or broth
How To Make simple arabic rice

1Fry vermicelli in butter or olive oil until golden.

2Add rice, water & salt.

3Bring to a boil, then cover & simmer about 30 minutes or until tender & water is absorbed.
