Ingredients For orange saffron rice

  • 2 c
    sam's club par excellence yellow rice or saffron rice that equals two cups
  • 4 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    orange juice
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c
    chopped celery
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 c
    dried diced mixed fruit
  • 3 Tbsp
    olive oil

How To Make orange saffron rice

  • 1
    In a large pot with a lid, bring water and orange juice and butter to a boil and add rice. Cover and reduce heat to low for approx. 20 minutes until liquid is absorbed.

    In a frying pan, saute celery and onion until clear but not brown. Add dried fruits and quickly saute to activate the flavors.
  • 3
    Add celery, onions, and fruit mixture to the cooked saffron rice.
