This is a great UNIQUE receipe for great rice and easy.I have found that BASMATI rice is much better than white in flavor and fluffier.

Ingredients For herbed walnut rice

  • 1 Tbsp
    unsalted butter
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1/2 c
    shredded carrot
  • 1/2 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 1/4 tsp
    dried marjoram
  • 1/4 tsp
    dried thyme leaves
  • 1/8 tsp
    dried rosemary
  • 3 c
    cooked rice{rice cooked in chicken broth instead of water for extra flavor}
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh parsley,chopped

How To Make herbed walnut rice

    In a large skillet,melt the butter over medium-high heat

    add the onion,carrot,walnuts,marjoram.thyme,and rosemary and cook until the veggies are tender-crisp,6-8 minutes

    stir in the cooked rice and parsley,HEAT THOROUGHLY
