Ingredients For greek orzo

  • 1/2 lb
    orzo pasta, uncooked
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 c
    oil infused with garlic
  • dash
    salt and pepper
  • 6 oz
    kalamata olives, pitted and chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh oregano, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh chives, chopped
  • 1/3 c
    crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh parsley

How To Make greek orzo

  • 1
    Boil orzo as directed on the package (1/2 a pound of orzo was used for this recipe).

    Whisk the lemon juice and garlic-infused olive oil together. Season with salt and pepper in a medium-sized bowl.

    Add olives, oregano, and chives to bowl.
  • 4
    When pasta has been cooked and rinsed, add it to the bowl. Stir to blend.
  • 5
    Fold in the feta cheese.
  • 6
    Garnish with parsley. *This side dish should be served warm.
