Ingredients For grandmother phillips' rice pilaf

1 csmall egg noodles

1 clong cooking rice (not minute rice)

2 1/2 cchicken or beef broth

1/2 cbutter

salt to taste
How To Make grandmother phillips' rice pilaf

1Brown egg noodles lightly in melted butter.

2Add rice and salt, stirring lightly.

3Heat broth and add to rice mixture. Cook with lid on low heat for 25 min. *Do not remove lid to stir.

4Let stand for five minutes, remove lid, stir, and serve.
