Love this stuff; it goes with anything! I like to cook it with Teriyaki chicken so I can drizzle the sauce over it.

A fast and easy homemade fried rice that's also easy on your wallet. Using leftover rice makes putting this dish together super simple. This fried rice has wonderful flavor from the sesame oil, garlic, and soy sauce. Tossed with a mixture of veggies, chicken, and eggs, this chicken fried rice is super hearty.

Ingredients For easy chicken fried rice

  • 4 c
    rice
  • 1/2 lb
    boneless chicken
  • 1 c
    peas and carrots, frozen
  • 1 sm
    white onions
  • 2 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 2 lg
    eggs
  • 2 Tbsp
    sesame oil
  • 1/4 c
    soy sauce

How To Make easy chicken fried rice

  • Cutting chicken into pieces.

    Cut chicken into small bite-sized pieces.
  • Pan-frying the chicken.

    Fry chicken in a small pan until no longer pink; set aside.
  • Adding sesame oil to a skillet.

    Heat sesame oil in 10 inch skillet on medium heat.
  • Cooking veggies in the sesame oil.

    Add vegetables. Stir fry until tender.
  • Eggs cracked into the skillet.

    Crack eggs into skillet and scramble.
  • Rice and cooked chicken added to the skillet.

    Add rice and chicken (already cooked).
  • Adding soy sauce to the skillet.

    Add soy sauce.
  • Mixing in soy sauce.

    Remove from heat and mix in soy sauce. Yes, it's that simple :)
