Ingredients For door country wild rice salad

  • 1 1/2 c
    cooked wild rice
  • 1/2 c
    cooked brown rice
  • 1/2 c
    sliced green onions
  • 1 c
    chopped celery
  • 1 c
    snow peas, cut in half (fresh)
  • 3/4 c
    dried craisins
  • 8 oz
    can sliced water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 c
    coarsely choppd cashews, toasted
  • DRESSING
  • 1/2 c
    canola oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    soy sauce
  • 1/2 c
    wine vinegar
  • 1/2 c
    sugar or splenda
  • 1/2 tsp
    granulated garlic
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground ginger

How To Make door country wild rice salad

  • 1
    Mix all salad ingredients together except cashews. Just before serving, add dressing and cashews. Stir into salad and serve.

    Note: To make a larger dish, I add more brown rice and some of the other ingredients like celery, snow peas, etc.
