Ingredients For curried rice and green beans

1 tspvegetable oil

2 csliced mushrooms

1 clovegarlic, minced

1/2 tspcurry powder

1/4 tspcumin seeds

1 cchicken broth
-
1 cfresh sliced green beans (or frozen and thawed)

1/2 clong grain white rice, uncooked

4 slicecanadian bacon, cut into thin strips

1/4 tspground black pepper

salt, to taste
How To Make curried rice and green beans

1Heat oil in medium saucepan. Add mushrooms and garlic; cook and stir over medium-low heat about 5 minutes.

2Add curry powder and cumin seed, if desired; cook and stir 30 seconds.

3Add chicken broth; bring to a boil. Stir in green beans and rice. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer about 18 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed.

4Stir in Canadian bacon and pepper, and salt if needed. Heat just until bacon is hot.
