Ingredients For coconut rice.

  • 1 1/2 c
    jasmine rice, uncooked
  • 1 1/4 c
    water
  • 1 can
    (14oz) coconut milk
  • 1 tsp
    sugar
  • 1 pinch
    salt

How To Make coconut rice.

    Rinse jasmine rice in a colander and cold water until water is no longer cloudy.

    In a sauce pan disolve the sugar and salt in the water. Stir in coconut milk and rice.

    Bring to a boil over medum heat. Cover and reduce heat and simmer 18-20 minutes, or until rice is tender.
