This is better than Rice-a-Roni! I like to use brown rice...it gives it a nuttier, chewier texture. If using brown rice simmer for 40 minutes instead.

Ingredients For chicken herbed rice

  • 1 Tbsp
    chicken bouillon granules
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried parsley
  • 1 tsp
    dried celery leaves
  • 1 tsp
    dried minced onion
  • 1 tsp
    sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 c
    rice
  • 2 c
    water

How To Make chicken herbed rice

    In skillet, melt butter. Add rice and saute until light brown.

    Add water and seasonings. Bring to a boil. Cover and simmer on low for 20 minutes.
