basic fried rice
(1 rating)
I really like this recipe. You can use all sorts of things in it like shrimp, chicken, tofu or just eat it plain. I added some cooked green onion and celery to mine. If you add other things add a third egg. I prepared the rice a day ahead so it was good and cold when I made this recipe. I used brown long grain rice, but you can use white if you wish.

2Wash and chop the green onion. Lightly beat the eggs with the salt and pepper.
-
3Heat a wok or fry pan and add 2 tbsp. of oil. When the oil is hot add the eggs and scramble until just done, don't let this dry out. Remove the eggs, and set aside. Clean out the pan.
