    chopped onions
  • 1 Tbsp
    water
  • 1 tsp
    butter
  • 1 1/2 c
    chopped green bell pepper
  • 3 c
    cooked rice
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 tsp
    basil
  • 8 oz
    tomato sauce
  • extra-sharp shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make baked rice milanese

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350. Spray skillet with cooking spray. Mix onions, water, and butter in skillet. Stirring, Cook over med heat until water evaporates.

    Add bell pepper, rice, seasonings, and tomato sauce. Turn the mixture into a greased 11/2 qt. casserole dish. Top with cheese and bake for 20 min.
