2 pkgshredded frozen potatoes

2 csour cream

2 cancream of celery soup

1 lgdiced sweet onion

3 csharp shredded cheese

1 tspbutter

1 ccrushed corn flakes or crackers or bread crumbs
How To Make utah funeral potatoes

1Thaw potatoes. Mix potatoes, sour cream, soup, cheese, and onion. Spread mixture into a large buttered casserole dish. (can be halved for family size) [optional, for spicy version, add one can of green chilies]

2Top with crumbs or crushed crackers.

3bake, covered for 45 minutes at 350. removing foil and baking uncovered the last 15 minutes.
