these are great started in microwave and finished on the grill........what is great bout them is u fill with whatever u have/like this recipe came from a friend[ty kathie C] i went to church with when i lived in michigan she would make 10 pound bags of potatoes up usin several fillings and freezing then she made then whole meals by addin meat to hers they are really good my recipe here is for 2 if u need more jus add more stuff

Ingredients For twice baked potato

  • 2 md
    baking potatoes
  • 1 tsp
    butter
  • 1 tsp
    dried chives
  • 2 Tbsp
    french onion dip[more if needed]
  • 1/4 tsp
    onion salt
  • 2/3 c
    sharp cheese
  • fresh pepper to taste
  • sprinkle smokey paparika
  • any or all these many be added...crisp fried bacon,cooked ham bites,fresh mushrooms cooked,green onions chopped fine,cooked,garlic,any color bell peppers chopped and cooked,celery, whatever u like...

How To Make twice baked potato

    wash potatoes well,poke with fork in several places put in microwave cook til tender[time depends on yur microwave and size of potaoes] mine took 6 min] let potoatoes cool so u can work with them

    spoon "meat" from potatoes leavin skin in take with small rim of potato mash pototo with butter and dip and salt add cheese and chives, sprinkle pepper and paparika [and whatever else u are adding]

    now spoon mix into potaton skins carful not to tear cover put in fridge at least hr once grill is ready reheatwith indirect heat on grill[can be nuked in microwave til hot or put in 350 oven for bout 20 min]
