thanksgiving streusel sweet potatoes
My family has to make this every year for Turkey Day! If your potatoes are really large, you can judge it to be able to feed 2 people per potato. You can make this up to 2 days ahead of time. You can also make individual twice-baked streusel potatoes. After baking, put a slit in the potato and scoop the meat out. Mix with the streusel mixture, place back into the shell, and bake until bubbly.
Blue Ribbon Recipe
Buttery, sweet, crunchy, and gooey, these Thanksgiving streusel sweet potatoes could be a dessert. Slices of fresh sweet potatoes are sprinkled with marshmallows and chopped pecans. Then, they're sprinkled with a butter, brown sugar, and flour streusel topping. Once baked, the streusel is crispy and the sweet potatoes are fork-tender. Even kids will love this side dish.
