This is my mothers recipe and whenever I make these, they are gone!

Ingredients For texas taters

1/4 cbutter, melted
-
2 lbfrozen hash brown potatoes

1 csour cream
-
1 cancream of chicken soup

1/2 cchopped onions
-
1 ccheddar cheese, shredded

topping:
-
1/2 cbutter, melted
-
1 ccrushed corn flakes
How To Make texas taters

1Combine butter, hashbrowns, sour cream, cream of chicken soup, onions and cheddar cheese in a 9x13 inch pan or equivilent casserole pan.

2Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until bubbly.

3Drizzle melted butter over potatoes and sprinkle corn flakes crumbs. Bake an additional 5 minutes.

4Note: I use a glass casserole pan. I also look for sharp cheddar cheese. Some people also like more cheese. Adding more will not hurt it!
