I love sweet potatoes. Sorry, but Thanksgiving without sweet potatoes is like Christmas without a tree. This is the easiest way to make a sweet potato, and you can put whatever topping you prefer on the individual sweet potato. Maybe make a sweet potato bar? How fun would that be for everyone to be able to put their own spin on their Thanksgiving plate?!

1sweet potato

butter or margarine

cinnamon/sugar, optional

marshmallow or marshmallow fluff, optional

How To Make sweet potato in the microwave, megan's

1Wash sweet potato, pierce several times with a fork so it doesn't explode in the microwave. Put on microwave safe plate, bake on high 5 min, turning over halfway through cooking. If it isn't done, continue 30 seconds at a time until done.

2Then put onto your plate, be careful because it's hot. Cut down the center and push to open up the sweet potato. Put butter or margarine in the center.

3Now, add what you want. Cinnamon sugar mixture, pecans, marshmallows, or any combination of them.
