This is my signature dish at our family's Thanksgiving dinner every year. It's very sweet and can be served as a side dish or as a dessert. I hope you enjoy it as much as my family has.

Ingredients For sweet potato casserole

1 (40 oz ) cansweet potatoes (drained)

1 (29 oz) cansweet potatoes (drained)

1 pinchsalt
-
2eggs
-
1 stickbutter or margarine
-
1/3 cmilk (or less--you don't want it too soupy as it won't cook down)

1 csugar
- BROWN SUGAR TOPPING

1 clight brown sugar
-
1/3 call purpose flour
-
1/3 stickmargarine or butter (melted)

1 cchopped pecans
How To Make sweet potato casserole

1Brown Sugar Topping--in a small bowl, mix all ingredients together and set aside.

2In large bowl mash sweet potatoes then add salt, eggs, margarine, milk and sugar together

3Spoon into large casserole dish and top with Brown Sugar Topping

4Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
