Ingredients For southern party potatoes

2 lbhashbrowns, thawed

1/2 cbutter, melted

1 tspsalt

1/4 tsppepper

1/2 conions, chopped

1 cancream of chicken soup or cream of celery soup

8 ozsour cream

2 ccheddar cheese, grated

1/4 cbutter, melted
-
2 cplain, crushed cornflakes
How To Make southern party potatoes

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place defrosted potatoes in a casserole dish. Combine butter, salt, pepper, onion, soup, sour cream and cheese. Mix together thoroughly. Pour over potatoes Mix the 1/4 cup of butter and the crushed corn flakes and sprinkle over the top. Cover and bake for 45 minutes.

2If you want to make this a meal instead of a side, all you have to do is add a pound of chopped ham in with the potatoes. Pour the cheese mixture on top.
