Ingredients For southern hash browns

  • 2 lb
    bag frozen hash browns potatoes, thawed
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1/3 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 c
    grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c
    butter, melted
  • 10 3/4 oz
    can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2
    soup can milk
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter, melted
  • 1 c
    crushed cornflakes

How To Make southern hash browns

  • 1
    Mix all ingredients together except 2 T. melted butter and cornflakes. Turn into 2 1/2-3 quart casserole. Mix the 2 T. melted butter and cornflakes together, sprinkle over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until done. Makes 10-12 servings.
