Ingredients For simple, perfect mashed potatoes

6-8 mdraw potatoes

1/2 cbutter

1/3 c2% or whole milk

1-2 tspsalt
How To Make simple, perfect mashed potatoes

1Peel potatoes and clean under cool tap water.

2Cut potatoes into cubes.

3Place potatoes in a large pot of Dutch oven. Fill with water about 2-inches above potatoes.

4Boil potatoes until soft, about 25 minutes.

5Drain well. Return potatoes to pot.

6Add remaining ingredients and beat with medium speed of an electric mixer until potatoes reach desired level of consistency.

7Serve!
