2 cshredded medium cheddar cheese

1 bunchgreen onions, chopped small

1 lbbacon, diced and crisped

Once the dish was uncovered, we had to bake the dish for 45 minutes.

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Melt butter in a 9 x 13-inch pan in the oven for about ten minutes.

2Add potatoes, salt, and pepper to melted butter. Mix well.

3Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

4In a mixing bowl, mix sour cream, cheese, green onions, and bacon (if using).

5Mix the sour cream mixture with the potatoes.
