I loved my moms potato soup growing up in wva. I still make like her with a few added ingredents

Ingredients For potato soup

5 to 6medium potatoes

1 1/2 cdiced celery and celery leaves

1onions, yellow, medium diced

1 canlg campbells cream of chicken soup

1 jarragu cheddar cheese sauce
-
1 canevaporated milk
-
1 stickbutter, cold
-
salt and pepper to taste

water, cold

1 cancarrots, chopped and drained
How To Make potato soup

1In large soup pan combine all above ingredents except the cheese sauce. Cover with water to about 2inches from top cook on hi until starts boiling. Reduce heat to med simmer for 1 hour or until potatoes are tender. Add cheese sauce simmer on low for 30 min stirring once or twice during this 30 mins. Remove from heat serve with crackers or cheese biscuits and a salad for a complete meal
