Father's Day 2017, this was part of what Sandy made...My daughter, who is vegetarian for health reasons, ate so much of this I thought she would explode! Please see the changes in ingredients that Sandy uses, but make it your own! It is incredibly good!

Ingredients For potato casserole, sandy's

  • 1 bag
    ore-ida hash browns, thawed (sandy used a 30 oz bag of hash browns, or 6 cups thawed)
  • 2 c
    sour cream
  • 2 c
    shredded cheddar (8 oz package)
  • 1 stick
    butter, melted
  • 1-2 can
    cream of chicken soup (i used 2)
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper
  • TOPPING:
  • 2 c
    cornflakes (sandy uses crushed ritz crackers instead)
  • 1/4 c
    melted butter

How To Make potato casserole, sandy's

  • 1
    Mix ingredients for casserole. Put in buttered 9x13 pan. Add topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 min.
