This is a personal favorite for a quick go-to side dish. Besides, you can't go wrong with potatoes and cheese right?

Ingredients For potato casserole

  • 1 pkg
    32 oz. frozen hash-brown potatoes (thawed)
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pkg
    sour cream (8 oz)
  • 1/2 sm
    onion, chopped fine
  • 12 oz
    grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 c
    butter, melted
  • 2 c
    butter crakers, crushed or corn flakes cereal

How To Make potato casserole

  • 1
    Mix potatoes, soup, sour cream, onion, salt and pepper, and half of the cheese and pour into a buttered casserole dish.

    Crush the corn flakes or crackers and mix with the melted butter. Crumble this over the potato mixture, top with remaining cheese.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes covered, then 15 additional minutes uncovered.
