This was a recipe my Mother-in-law prepared for her family when my husband was young, in place of Turkey for Thanksgiving, as turkey was more expensive than pork at the time. It is one of my husband's favorite meals. With corn and applesauce as sides, it was very filling.

Ingredients For pork chops and potato stuffing

5 large potatoes

1 onion, chopped

4 boneless pork chops

2 t butter
-
poultry seasoning
How To Make pork chops and potato stuffing

1Pare and cut up potatoes. Place in pan with water to cover. Boil until soft enough to mash. When done, mash, add butter, chopped onions and poultry seasoning.

2While the potatoes are cooking,brown the pork chops in a skillet until partially cooked. Place porkchops in bottom of a casserole. Top with mashed potatoes.

3Place in 350* oven and bake about 1 hour, or until pale brown on top.
