Ingredients For pecan praline sweet potatoes

  • 6
    soft boiled sweet potatoes with the skins on them
  • 1 stick
    butter, softened
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar, dark
  • 1/2 c
    heavy cream, cold
  • 2 c
    pecans, in pieces
  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon, ground
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract

How To Make pecan praline sweet potatoes

    Cook the potatoes with skins on them and let them cool. Peel the potatoes removing all the skins. Mash potatoes with beater add half the butter and half of the brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla and cream. Beat until smooth.

    Pour sweet potatoe mixture into casserole dish. Mix in separate bowl flour and remaining butter and brown sugar, add pecans and mix with fork. sprinkle on top of sweet potatoes. Bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees and enjoy
