For all we lovers of orange, this old recipe will satisfy our taste for our favorite fruit. I found this recipe and I could not resist it. This dish comes from 1958, Goodhousekeeping Meat Cook Book.

Ingredients For orange ham 'n' sweets

1 sliceham--- 1 1/2

6 mdsweet potatoes

4 sliceorange-- 1/2

1 cbrown sugar

1/2 corange juice, unsweetened

grated rind of one orange
How To Make orange ham 'n' sweets

1Preheat oven to 325. Cut edges of fat on ham and place in baking dish. Cover and bake 1 hr.

2Meanwhile, cook potatoes. Mix brown sugar, orange juice, and orange rind; set aside.

3Place cooked potatoes around ham with orange slices. Pour orange juice mixture over ham and potatoes.

4Return to oven and bake, uncovered, for 20 minutes or until brown.
