Ingredients For new potatoes and pesto

1 cfresh basil leaves, packed

1 cfresh parsley sprigs, packed

1/3 cpine nuts

2 clovegarlic, minced

1/2 colive oil

3/4 cfreshly grated parmesan cheese (not the pre-packaged stuff)

1/2 tspfreshly ground black pepper

2 lbnew potatoes, unpeeled
How To Make new potatoes and pesto

1Add the basil, parsley, pine nuts, and garlic to a food processor. Process until smooth. Pour olive oil into the food processor in a slow, steady stream with processor running. Process until blended. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and pepper. Set aside.

2Arrange potatoes in a vegetable steamer over boiling water. Cover and steam the potatoes for 20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.

3Place the steamed potatoes in a large serving bowl; add the reserved basil mixture, and toss gently to coat well. Serve immediately.
