Ingredients For mixed mashed potatoes

3 lgrusset potatoes, peeled, washed and cubed

1 lgsweet potato, peeled, washed and cubed

2 lgpinches coarse sea salt

4 Tbspbutter

1/2 clight sour cream, or to taste

1/4 c35% heavy cream

1/2 tspgarlic salt, or to taste
-
freshly ground black pepper, to taste (i always use mixed peppercorns)

2 lggreen onions (white and green parts), chopped

1 1/2 Tbspfresh parsley, chopped
How To Make mixed mashed potatoes

1Boil potatoes in salty water until tender, about 20 to 25 minutes. Drain and transfer back to the pot.

2Add butter and mash until well incorporated. Add sour cream, heavy cream, garlic salt and freshly ground black pepper; mash until mixed. Taste and adjust if necessary. Blend green onions in the potato mixture and sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley.
