Ingredients For mashed potato casserole

  • 5 lb
    potatoes
  • 2 pkg
    cream cheese, 3oz each
  • 1 c
    dairy sour cream
  • 2 tsp
    onion salt
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 pinch
    white pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter

How To Make mashed potato casserole

  • 1
    cook peeled potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain. mash until smooth. Add remaining ingredients and beat until light and fluffy. Let Cool slightly. place in a large greased casserole or souffle dish. dot with more butter or if desired use buttered crumbs. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.

    To serve, remove about an hour before dinner and bake uncovered @ 350 for 30 minutes or until heated through.
