Ingredients For latkes

  • 2 Tbsp
    flour
  • 3 Tbsp
    bread crumbs, plain
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground pepper
  • 2
    eggs, lightly beaten
  • 3 lb
    russet potatoes
  • 1
    medium onion, grated
  • oil for frying

How To Make latkes

    Mix flour, bread crumbs, salt, pepper and eggs in bowl, set aside.

    Grate 1/2 of potatoes with small holes and the other 1/2 with larger holes.

    Add onions; pat all dry on towel
  • 4
    Mix in egg mixture. Form into patties (3-4 inches wide). Fry until golden.
