How To Make kicked-up potato wedges
-
1Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Wash and dry potatoes. Do not peel.
-
2Cut potatoes into thick wedges.
-
3Place potatoes on a lined baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil coating on all sides.
-
4Sprinkle liberally with the salts and pepper according to your taste.
-
5Bake at 400 degrees for 40 minutes or until fork tender. At this point, you can cook the bacon if you prefer not to use the half cup of store-bought real bacon bits. I use the packaged Hormel Real Crumbled Bacon Bits.
-
6In a bowl mix sour cream, ranch dressing, and milk. Once the potatoes are cooked, spread 3/4 of the sour cream sauce on an oven-proof serving dish.
-
7Place hot, cooked potato wedges on top of the sour cream sauce. Drizzle the remaining sour cream sauce on top.
-
8Sprinkle on the cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, and bacon bits.
-
9Top with green onion.
-
10Place back in the oven for five minutes or until the cheeses melt.
