I looked at all the hashbrown casseroles on this site and none of them was like this. Its very simple but we do one thing different, we use a whole jar of queso. It makes it better we think.

Ingredients For hashbrown casserole

  • 1/2 jar
    cheese whiz
  • 8 oz
    hiland french onion dip
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 16 oz
    frozen hashbrowns
  • 2 c
    corn flakes, crushed or bread crumbs

How To Make hashbrown casserole

  • 1
    Mix Cheese Whiz, French Onion Dip, soup, and 1/2 stick of butter in a large bowl. Stir in the hashbrowns. Pour mixture into a 13x9 Pyrex dish. Top with mixture of crushed corn flakes or bread crumbs and remaining 1/2 stick of butter. [melted] Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
