In my family we make this every Christmas to go with our honey baked ham. I love it anytime of the year though.

Ingredients For hashbrown caserole

  • 1 pkg
    dice hashbrowns, frozen
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pt
    (or 2 cups) sour cream
  • 2 1/2 c
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1
    small onion, chopped

How To Make hashbrown caserole

    In large bowl put hashbrowns, onion and 2 cups of cheese.

    In a small bowl mix together cream of chicken soup and sour cream.

    Pour sour cream mixture over hashbrown mixture and stir until completely mixed.

    Put all of this in a 9 x 13 baking pan and sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup cheese over the top.

    Bake at 350 degrees 40 - 45 minutes or until the potaotoes are soft.
