This is a hit no matter what occasion. I have found that it is a wonderful dish to take to someone's house that has just had a baby, just moved in, or sadly a death in the family.

Ingredients For hamburger tator tot casserole

  • 1 lb
    hamburger - lean
  • 1 pkg
    dry onion soup mix
  • 1 pkg
    10 oz frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 can
    water
  • 1 pkg
    tator tots

How To Make hamburger tator tot casserole

    Brown hamburger and drain grease. Add soup mix, frozen vegetables, soup & water.

    Mix all together and let simmer while you prepare the 9x12 baking dish.

    Spray dish with Pam; pour hamburger mixture into baking dish; bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees; then add tator tots on top and bake an add'l 15 to 20 minutes until nicely brown.
