Ingredients For ground beef picadillo

1 lbground beef
-
1 mdonion peeled and diced
-
4 clovegarlic peeled and chopped

2jalapenos, fresh,seeded and diced

4 mdtomatoes, seeded and diced
-
10 mdgreen olives quartered
-
2 Tbspolive brine from the olive jar
-
1/4 craisins (softened in water for 20 minutes)

1pablano chili seeded and chopped (or green pepper if unavailable)

1 tspcumin
-
1/4 tspground clove
-
1 tspbrown sugar

2potatoes, peeled and diced mixed in 1 tsp molasses

1/4 colive oil to brown potatoes in
How To Make ground beef picadillo

1start softening rasins (set aside) and brown the potatoes in olive oil until golden and tender.

2cook ground beef, jalapeno and onion about 1/2 done, then add garlic and cook a couple more minutes.

3Add remaining ingredients

4Serve over rice or you can use this mixture to make tamales or empanadas as well.
