These potatoes are so easy to make and delicious! The secret is to microwave them for a few minutes until they are starting to soften.

Our new favorite way to grill potatoes. In fact, we might like them better than baked potatoes (especially in the summer). Easy to prepare, they're buttery, soft, rich, and just melt in your mouth. Serve alongside grilled steak for a summer-style steakhouse meal.

Ingredients For grilled potatoes

  • 1-1/2 lb
    Yukon gold potatoes
  • 1 stick
    butter, melted
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    basil (or to taste)
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder (or to taste)
  • 2 tsp
    parsley (or to taste)
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    pepper

We grilled the potatoes on low heat for 25 minutes.
  • Microwaving cut potatoes.

    Cut potatoes into chunks and microwave for 3 minutes to soften.
  • Potatoes in a large piece of aluminum foil.

    Put into heavy aluminum foil.
  • Melted butter and seasonings added to the potatoes.

    Add your melted butter, basil, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  • Sealed potato package on the grill.

    Wrap tightly and place on the grill for about 15 minutes (no need to turn) or until potatoes are cooked. Serve and enjoy!
