I got this recipe from my grandma. She'd serve them at our holiday parties, especially Christmas. Now I carry on her tradition.

Ingredients For golden potatoes

1 1/2 csour cream

1 cancream of celery soup

1 stickbutter, softened

1 pkgfrozen hash browns, thawed

4 cshredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided

1/2 cdiced onions

1 tsppepper
-
2 ccrushed cornflakes
How To Make golden potatoes

1In a large bowl, combine the first four ingredients. Fold in two cups cheddar cheese. Stir in onions and pepper.

2Spread potato mix into a 13 x 9 baking dish. Top with remaining two cups of cheddar. Sprinkle cornflakes on top.

3Bake 350 for 45 minutes. *this can be made the night before and refrigerated until ready to bake.
