i create my first mashed potatoes recipe and it on the sixth of garlic parmesan creation,also it an A+ with some garlic parmesan wings.

Ingredients For garlic parmesan mashed potatoes

  • 2 c
    shredded parmesan cheese,divided
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 lg
    vidalia onion,peeled and chopped
  • 3/4 c
    grated romano cheese
  • 1 Tbsp
    steak seasoning
  • 6
    large russet potatoes,peeled and quartered
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese,softened
  • 1 bottle
    garlic parmesan sauce
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 3 lg
    eggs
  • 2 tsp
    garlic pepper

How To Make garlic parmesan mashed potatoes

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    Coat a 2-quart baking dish with cooking spray.Add 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese.

    Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.Add chopped vidalia onion,saute for 5 minutes until browned.Stir in grated romano cheese and steak seasoning.Remove from heat and set aside.

    Place potatoes in a large saucepan;filled with water.Cover and bring to a boil.Cook for 25 minutes or until very tender;drain well.

    In a large bowl,mash potatoes.Add cream cheese,garlic parmesan sauce,heavy cream,sauteed vidalia onion,eggs and garlic pepper;beat until fluffy.

    Transfer into a prepared baking dish.Cover and bake at 350 for 40 minutes or until heated through.Sprinkle with remaining shredded parmesan cheese.
