Ingredients For fried potatoes w caramelized onions & smoky links

1 lgyellow onion sliced into rings

2 Tbspbutter

salt

1 tspsugar

4 clovegarlic minced

6 lgyukon gold potatoes peeled and thinly sliced into rounds

2 Tbspolive oil
-
salt
-
1 pkgsmoky links cut into pieces
How To Make fried potatoes w caramelized onions & smoky links

1Place butter in a large skillet. Add the onions over med. high heat. Once they start to brown add the sugar and lower the heat and cook until caramelized. Add a pinch of salt and the garlic. Cook 30 seconds and remove onions to a plate. Wipe out the skillet.

2In same skillet add the olive oil. In batches place the potato rounds in a single layer. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and brown on each side until golden. Remove to a separate plate and repeat until all the potatoes are done.

3Add the smoky links to the skillet and shake and cook 1 minutes. Add the potatoes and onions back to the skillet and cook 1 more minute stirring constantly.
